Un art�culo realmente interesante que he visto navegando por N4G el cual deber�a de leer m�s de uno de los que han posteado por ejemplo en el hilo de PlayStation 4 podr�a ser m�s potente que la nueva consola de Microsoft

There's a lot of talk amongst gaming websites including this one about games which appear on one system as an exclusive that are desirable on another. However, how much of that desirability is simply wishful thinking in the minds of the authors playing the game of assuming to know what the consensus actually is? We've perhaps been guilty of being excited for a newly announced PS3 game like The Last of Us, and although like many we own multiple consoles and will get to play exclusives no matter what system they appear on, is it presumptuous of us to then believe that those who do not are sitting there in horror as they watch trailers and hear opinion for the next exciting looking game on another console? There are some great games on the 3DS which those who don't own the device will never get to play, as die hard gamers we might express an interest in the exclusive Resident Evil or latest Zelda game, but is this reflective opinion of anyone else, are there single format owners who simply aren't that bothered?

In all probability the answer has to be a resounding yes, and despite what we and others might lead you to believe, you're probably not missing out as much as is purported. A popular topic of discussion hovers around console exclusive titles, as the same arguments and reasoning ricochet off well versed walls of opinion, yet, are gamers really missing out if they don't play some games, can they be content with the games that are available, and perhaps is there an even greater element of the grass is always greener on the other side when it comes to video game exclusives.

We think it's exciting to take an interest in what's happening in other camps, we are gamers after all not shackled or loyal to any one company, but perhaps we do overplay the importance of ownership and being able to play as many games as possible, a sentiment not necessarily shared by our peers. In fact, from our own research it's quite feasible for many gamers to be perfectly happy spending their gaming time with multi-format games like Modern Warfare 3 or Skyrim, where things like accessibility, controller preference, cost, and online features are more important elements than exclusive games. In light of this, here's 5 exclusive game series on PS3 and Xbox which we believe Xbox and PS3 owners shouldn't feel like they are missing out on . If you're not able to play them - then buying a second console this late in the game is very much a viable option - if you're that desperate.

Resistance/Killzone/Halo:

Resistance has been Sony's counter to the Halo franchise, alongside the rather well produced Killzone games. But with Halo being all encompassing, is there really any need to feel like you're missing out. Not really. Halo provides enough alien filled thrills that the need to repeat the experience under a different guise doesn't warrant the comparison. Killzone might offer some of the most polished first person shooting experiences around, but then again,in its own way Halo is equally as well produced. There's no real need then to wonder what the other games are doing if the quality on both sides is so high.

Gran Turismo/Forza Motorsport:

Two great franchises where each one offers a slightly different take on simulated driving/racing experiences. However, the basic set ups are very similar, and so to be pinning for one over the other is perhaps more in tune with personal taste than abstract jealousy of cool and genre defining features.

Infamous/Fable:

An open world, the ability to shape the sentiment of its inhabitants, and the option to be omnipresent in your demeanour means that the end game is the same. You can be good or evil with the effects having profound influences on your surrounds. The time periods might be very different and the executions dissimilar, but the experiences at a basic level are remarkably similar in many ways. Again, it's surely a matter of taste.

Gears/Uncharted:

Both games offer adventurous and dark undertoned plots, with larger than life characters. Both offer cover shooter mechanics, and both provide comprehensive multiplayer angles, so therefore it really does boils down to taste. Both Uncharted and Gears of War games are the pinnacle of great looks for their respective systems, so why be upset if you're not experiencing both, there's really no valid reason to be at all.

Alan Wake/Heavy Rain:

Heavy Rain made an impact due to its quirky controls and interesting story telling techniques, whereas both games exuded the same contemporary "thriller" approach. Whilst the gameplay might be different in both titles, it's perhaps these differences that give them their unique identities. As a player, Alan Wake or the characters of Heavy Rain both tell a story in an encapsulating way, and if you've not played one over the other then why the need to feel left out. There isn't one really, as the experiences on offer still keep you gripped and entertained by the breadth of their fictional content.

�Ha dejado Fumito Ueda Sony?

Fumito Ueda, el creador de Ico, Shadow of the Colossus y el futuro The Last Guardian, podr�a haber dejado Sony, seg�n ha podido saber Eurogamer.

Fuentes de la industria del videojuego en Jap�n apuntan a que este desarrollador de 41 a�os est� trabajando para acabar The Last Guardian, pero lo est� haciendo en calidad de freelance.

La salida de Ueda de Sony Computer Entertainment podr�a ser una de las razones por las que este juego exclusivo de PlayStation 3 vio retrasada su fecha de salida recientemente.

Seg�n los �ltimos rumores, una vez que Ueda finalice su trabajo en este t�tulo se embarcar� en otros proyectos personales.

A pesar de que The Last Guardian no estuvo presente en la �ltima edici�n del Tokyo Game Show, el pasado mes de septiembre desde Sony se dijo que el Team Ico segu�a "trabajando duro" en el que probablemente sea el juego m�s esperado de PS3.

Por su parte, el m�ximo responsable de SCE dijo a mediados del pasado mes de agosto que el desarrollo no estaba siendo tan r�pido como esperaban. "Ha sido muy complicado ver el progreso, no ha sido tan r�pido como esper�bamos y el equipo ha estado bajo presi�n", afirm� entonces.

Ahora mismo el juego sigue sin fecha de lanzamiento, solamente se ha comentado que saldr� en alg�n momento de 2012. En cualquier caso, m�s de cinco a�os despu�s de su primer anuncio en febrero de 2007.

Nos hemos puesto en contacto con Sony, pero han decido no hacer comentarios al respecto.

Finalmente resulta ser un hoax... En un nuevo tweet hab�a una direcci�n que en teoria llevaba a una im�gen del juego y en su lugar aparecia el "troll face". L�stima...

Rumor: Adrift en la Gamescom

El juego exclusivo para PS3 Adrift podr�a presentarse en la Gamescom.

Adrif, el juego de aventuras que combinar� acci�n y RPG en exclusiva para PlayStation 3, podr�a presentarse oficialmente en el Gamescom de Colonia.

Dontnod Entertainment, el estudio franc�s fundado por Oskar Guilbert, ex-Criterion, ha confirmado en su p�gina web la presencia en el evento. Circunstancia que dispara la posible puesta en escena de su primer juego, cuyo desarrollo comenz� en 2008 y que correr� bajo Unreal Engine 3.

KH: Birth by Sleep recibir� un remaster HD para PS3

Seg�n la not�cia en exclusiva de PSNow.es, PS3 tambi�n recibir� un remaster de este juego de PSP.

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep recibir� un remaster HD para PS3.

En conmemoraci�n al d�cimo aniversario en marzo de 2012 de la saga Kingdom Hearts, Square-Enix tiene preparadas varias sorpresas, una de ellas es el remaster HD para PS3 del aclamado t�tulo de PSP Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep.

Junto a Birth by Sleep podr�an llegar remasters de los Kingdom Hearts de PS2 a nuestras PS3.

Como ya anticip� en el hilo de rumores de PlayStation Vita, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep 2 se encuentra en desarrollo para la port�til, aunque es muy probable que se trate de un t�tulo que aparezca simult�neamente para PSVita y PS3.

Si ya me hace poca gracia que salga ganador el PP en las elecciones, existe algo peor...

�Dos concejales de Espa�a 2000! Ten�a claro que hab�a mucho movimiento fascista en este pueblo, pero esto es simplemente terror�fico... No me lo puedo creer. �De veras hay tanta gente con ideales tan radicales? Y es que casi duplican el n�mero de votos en comparaci�n a las anteriores legislaciones... Madre m�a... comienzo a pasar miedo por aqu�. No por ver al t�pico skin (que se ven muy habitualmente), sino porque cada vez van cogiendo m�s fuerza en el ayuntamiento...

Muere Randy "Macho Man" Savage, de la WWF

De peque�o era un fiel seguidor de la WWF (cuando hab�a aut�ntico espect�culo, no como con la actual WWE), con Hulk Hogan como favorito y seguido de cerca por Macho Man, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, El �ltimo Guerrero (y lo segu� admirando posteriormente hasta conocer lo zumbado que est�) o El Enterrador en sus tiempos mozos y cuando salia de debajo del ring...

Pues bien, Randy ha muerto de un paro card�aco mientras conduc�a.

Randy Savage, de 58 a�os y uno de los rivales m�s conocidos de Hulk Hogan, sufri� un ataque al coraz�n mientras conduc�a por Florida

El legendario h�roe de lucha libre Randy Savage, conocido popularmente por su apelativo "Macho Man", ha fallecido este viernes a los 58 a�os a consecuencia de un accidente de tr�fico en la localidad norteamericana de Tampa, seg�n ha confirmado la polic�a de Florida.

Savage, cuyo nombre legal era Randy Mario Poffo, era uno de los luchadores m�s carism�ticos y recordados de este espect�culo. Seg�n su hermano Lanny Poffo, falleci� al parecer a consecuencia de un ataque al coraz�n mientras conduc�a un Jeep Wrangler, aunque las autoridades esperan confirmar los motivos de su muerte con los resultados de la autopsia.

La patrulla de carreteras ha asegurado que el veh�culo impact� previamente contra la valla, invadi� el carril contrario de la autopista en el Condado de Pinellas donde choc� contra un �rbol. Su mujer Lynn, quien se encontraba en el asiento de pasajero, ha sobrevivido con "heridas leves".

"Macho Man' comenz� su andadura profesional en WWE en el a�o 1985, momento en el que conquist� el Campeonato Intercontinental. Fue muy aclamado por el p�blico gracias, entre otras cosas, a su tradicional grito de '�Oh, yeah!" y ser� recordado como uno de los rivales m�s duros del m�tico Hulk Hogan.

Tambi�n era conocido por sus llamativos espect�culos tanto dentro como fuera del ring, ya que nunca pasaba desapercibido gracias, en parte, a sus coloridos trajes y a su colecci�n de anillos y joyas. Incluso hizo sus pinitos como actor y m�sico.
