Hi everyone! I've bought an SEGA devkit a week ago and received it today, when connected to the PC I saw the gamefiles for ToeJam & Earl 3. A few hours later I got it to boot and it's an actual working build of ToeJam & Earl 3 for the dreamcast! Does anyone know if this is already available for everyone ? It boots directly to a sort of character select screen, after you have chosen the character it begins at Level 1. I look for an way to make a video of the gameplay I'm thinking for starting up something like a donation based thing (I've spend lot of dollars just to buy this box!). My intention is to release it to the community sometime. And don't worry, the game has been backed up to lot of servers that I own and even to a backup tape. This game won't be lost anytime soon Root directory of the devbox's hdd Test and served where not there, they are tests from me to get the whole thing working. Served is even an earlier version of Half-Life 1 that I had on another devkit (that died in 13 hours a few months back...), unfortunately it misses the binaries to start. Dates 16 April 2001 MattScene has missing binaries and looks like an alpha of ToeJam & Earl 3, it dates 8 September 2000. SceneCB this is the build that works and plays, dated from 2 July 2001 This was I think a very early beta as the save features are not there, no cutscenes. I think this is the build that you see on the IGN video that's floating around on youtube. -ZakhooiTM --- La beta no está liberada... de momento. |
