Según el blog Kotaku, los juegos de PC que lleven la filigrana esa de Games for Windows se supone que aseguran estas cosas:

- soporte para pantallas panoramicas
- soporte para Windows de 64bits
- soporte para jugar con el pad de X360 en PC
- se puede lanzar desde Windows Media Center

Interesante, sin duda Microsoft apuesta fuerte por los juegos para Windows Vista.

Live Anywhere es la nueva plataforma de servicios online de Microsoft, que sustituirá al actual servicio conocido como XBOX Live!

El Live anywhere no es ni más ni menos que el actual servicio online de la XBOX360 ampliado, mejorado y llevado a las demás plataformas Windows de Microsoft (PDAs, smartphones, tablet PCs, y PCs).
¿Esto qué implica? Pues que el servicio será compatible entre diversas plataformas. Usuarios de PCs y 360 podrán jugar entre sí, enviarse mensajes, chatear por voz, hacer videoconferencia, compartir logros, descargas, etc.

En mi opinión este es un gran avance para el pc gaming, ya que sin duda lo potenciará enormemente, y lo mejor de todo, destruirá barreras absurdas entre las diferentes plataformas que existen hoy día, que sirven sólo a intereses de las compañías y perjudican a los usuarios.

Live Anywhere entrará en funcionamiento con el lanzamiento de Windows Vista, en Enero-Febrero de 2007.

El servicio será abierto, y las third parties podrán hacer uso de él, siempre que pasen los tests de certificación requeridos por Microsoft, al igual que pasa con la 360.

Se espera que durante el 2007 aparezcan los primeros juegos de third parties con capacidades

De momento, los primeros juegos con dichas capacidades ya anunciados son:

   * Shadowrun
   * Halo 2

Bueno, no pensaba comentar nada en el blog sobre mi reciente expulsión del foro de Vandal, pero ya que la gente ha preguntado y se ha preocupado por mi, muchas gracias a todos por ello, creo que es licito dar una explicación.

Bueno, pues he sido expulsado por este post (la mia es la tercera respuesta)

Los motivos que figuran en la expulsión son:

"Motivo: Te comunicamos que entorpecer y empeorar el funcionamiento del foro y el disfrute de los demás foristas, tanto si es mediante trolleo o mediante el floodeo (es decir, enviar mensajes de manera continuada) es motivo de expulsión. O lo que es lo mismo, intentar "floodear" el foro, poniendo mensajes continuamente y sin venir a cuento, reflotando mensajes antiguos, usando abusivamente la opción "avisar al moderador", etc... está prohibido y es motivo de expulsión de acuerdo a las normas del foro."

Bueno. Cierto es que mi post no aportaba mucho al hilo, pero no creo que fuese un post que inluyese negativamente en el buen funcionamiento del foro. Y tampoco creo haber sido causante de crear mal ambiente, ni haber hecho flood. Vamos, que no era una gran aportación, pero tampoco molestaba a nadie....
Realmente tenía prisa cuando contesté a ese post, y no me paré a comentar nada más. Cuando leí esas declaraciones, lo primero que me pasó por la cabeza fué exactamente eso que escribí. Asombro y confusión. Pensaba luego más tarde, cuando se aclarase un poco el tema de la multiregión o no de Wii, comentar algo más en profundidad y hacer un poco de reflexión... Pero bueno, ahora ya da igual.
Vandal ha decidido y yo acato la decisión. Esto no es ninguna rabieta, sinó simplemente información para los que han preguntado por mi expulsión. Como mínimo la expulsión es "sólo" hasta el Lunes 18 de Septiembre.

Si llevo bien la cuenta, esta es mi 4 expulsión desde que estoy en Vandal. Espero y deseo que sea la última. Y aprovecho para pedir disculpas públicas a Vandal.

Muy buenas lectores y viajantes del hiperespacio. Vuelvo a la palestra del planeta Adelpha, con carnaza PeCera, como de costumbre.
En esta ocasión con una reflexión sobre porqué aún hoy día sigue valiendo la pena mantener el PC como plataforma de juegos.

Pues bien, la respuesta es clara, por su catálogo.

Sí, así de sencillo.
En definitiva, lo que debería importar a cualquier amante de los videojuegos es precisamente eso. Los juegos.
Tanto da si una consola es mejor que otra, si el PC tiene esto o aquello, si yo soy amante de una marca u otra, bla, bla, bla... Lo importante es jugar a lo que cada uno más le apetezca y disfrute con ello.

Pues bien, sin duda, y esto es un hecho, el PC tiene un catálogo inmenso lleno de juegos de calidad y variedad.

Vamos, creo que menos en RPG oriental y juegos de lucha, va bien servido el PC.
