...Ah, simplemente estaba rindiendo homenaje a Gray Fox:

Shinkawa ya dibujó en el pasado a un Ninja sujetando una katana en la boca.

PD: Gracias a ToLjAz, que me lo dijo.

Todo lo que pudo ser, y no fue. En inglés:

Development:
- MGS4 was supposed to be the last MGS game. This was changed to the last game of Solid Snake.
- Snake travels all over the world 'to be like Indiana Jones or 007'.
- From the start Solid Snake wasn't going to be the best character model in the game, instead he would have the best animations.
- Nobuko Toda was MGS4's composer before Harry Gregson Williams came on in 2006. Some of her work is in MGS4 though, like Love Theme.
- Half Life 2 was to be an influence on the story presentation (in-game cutscenes instead of normal cutscenes), not a direct rip-off but a similar style.
- Big Boss being in the first artwork was Shinkawa's doing. Kojima didn't know about it until that E3 showing.
- The released MGS4 has 1/10 of the gameplay ideas from original MGS4.
One gameplay system from original MGS4 that wasn't in the released MGS4 was 'what you cannot see' gameplay.

Gameplay:
- Battlefield sirens would be in the game, causing soldiers to get scared (Gekko moo?)
- With a silenced weapon the player could shoot the walls or ground to make a guard to run away.
- Story wouldn't get in the way of gameplay, the idea was story would be in between missions and missions would just be gameplay.
- Destuctable Environments would be designed around cover, the idea being unlike the past games you couldn't stay behind cover for long.
- A vs B vs C vs D was the system for fighting PMCs. The player could change what PMC they faced later on by taking out one side in a level (each level had 2 PMCs fighting each other).
- Changing the level order for PMCs wouldn't change the ending though.
- If the player got the attention of one PMC from constantly fighting them, that PMC would send bounty hunters after the player.
- The player could fight alongside PMCs too, siding with either army would be done in game - for example, the player could be with the militia until they face a PMC tank they can't fight. Snake could then betray the miltia and join that PMC to get an easier playthrough that area.
- If the player was sided with a PMC that had Metal Gear Gekko, the Gekko would leave Snake alone.
- If Metal Gear Gekko fought alongside PMCs, those soldiers would be better fighters.
- There would be side missions like helping militia save their family.
- Camp Kitchens would be in the game, you could steal rations from them.
- There would be 150 weapons in the game (released MGS4 has 70)
- These 150 weapons would be:
Actual weapons
Actual weapons in development, and
Complete fantasy weapons.
- The player could create their own weapons out of the 150 weapons by combining or moding them. The player could share their weapons online to their friends.
- Metal Gear MK2 would have had more moves than electric shock.
- ! and ? would be gone from guards, replaced by face expressions.
- There was a system called 'what you cannot see' gameplay, don't know what it was but Kojima said it didn't make it to released MGS4.
- An artwork shows Metal Gear REX fighting 2 Metal Gear RAYs on the Shadow Moses dock.
- Beauty and The Beast Unit would have had beautiful male soldiers as well, 2 at least.
- Level 5's/Outer Haven's description in the Database says it as a large city with skyscraper towers. A hint to it's original design?
- The player could call Raiden to back them up in gameplay.
- An artwork shows Raiden fight with his footblade and sword at the same time.

Story:
- Kojima's MGS4 ending was Snake and Otacon would turn themselves in and be executed for their crimes. The team didn't like it though, and worked with Kojima for a more fitting ending.
- There would have been more returning characters than what was in released MGS4, don't know who they are though.
- A hint early on was Snake and Otacon wouldn't be the only ones that used Metal Gear MK2. Unknown what became of this.

- There were 2 male Beauty and The Beast soldiers:
Snake Man: a pretty boy, his suit looked like Solidus' and had numerous Snake Arms (what Solidus/Laughing Octopus used)
Unknown codename: real name Adam, a handsome tall Russian. He is shown wearing puffy military clothes and carrying a knife.

- An alternate Solid Snake design was to be muscular with a walking stick.
- Meryl and Akiba orginally wore Military caps instead of balaklavas.
- An alternate Big Mama design was brown hair in a different hair style.
- Alternate Raiden designs:
*Carrying a vat of white blood on his back and his Skull suit.
*A suit that looks like a Sand Man from Star Wars.
- Alternate Drebin designs:
*A White guy
*A suit wearing salesman
*A car-boot salesman
*A Texan style salesman
*A rastafarian design
*A goatee that forms into 2 arrows
*A small man with a merged beard and afro.
- Alternate Sunny designs:
*A Maid
*A Hipster
*Her body covered in computer gear and a headset
*Bunny earings
- Alternate Laughing Octopus designs:
*A suction cup suit.
*8 legged tenticle suit.
*A tenticle body that splits up into smaller tenticles.
*A cocoon suit.
- Alternate Screaming Mantis designs:
*A suit that looks like an RE4 spikey Regenerator.
*Scythes from her arms to her feet.
- Alternate Jonathan designs:
*A perm instead of a mohawk
*Pointed sideburns
*Sunglasses
- A Vamp design had him wearing a combat suit.
- Naomi is also shown wearing a parka jacket.

- Raiden's arm originally exploded from holding Outer Haven. His crushed body was also to be shown.
- An alternate design for Raiden in level 5 was to have an exposed spine and dripping blood. This was changed to a jacket.

- As well as cutscenes playing out in gameplay, there wouldn't be as much dialogue in the story as it would be replaced by face and body expression.
One example was a face saying 'I love you' instead of the character saying it.
